My 1st Mothers Day without Anton. In fact it was my 1st Mothers Day spent virtually on my own, I only got to see my youngest son and that was briefly, the other boys were busy, and sent flowers in the post. I sat down that day with my partner and had cup of soup and wallowed in pity. Anton never ever forgot any of the holidays and always went out of his way to make it special if he was home. Luckily I had kept his Mother’s Day card from the previous year and it will be one of my prized possessions. I was glad when the day was over! Mothers Day is a trigger!
